MN Supports Paul At RNC 29 Aug 12

Mitt Romney received the Republican nomination for president on Tuesday at the party’s national convention in Tampa, but the majority of Minnesota delegates to the convention supported a different candidate, with 33 delegate votes going to Ron Paul, 1 to Rick Santorum, and 6 to Romney. Minnesota Delegation Chair Marianne Stebbins says that the national Republican Party and the Romney campaign should have done more to court the Ron Paul supporters. She says that many of those who back the Texas Congressman are angry that the party stripped some states of their Paul delegates.
