Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will have to wait until September 27th for a date in a Texas court, following a well-publicized incident at a Houston nightclub nearly a month ago. Peterson’s pretrial hearing was pushed back again because prosecutors say they need more time to review evidence and conduct interviews. Peterson is accused of pushing an off-duty police officer after they say he refused to leave at closing time. Peterson’s lawyer says his client didn’t resist arrest and the officer hit him in the face for no reason.
Vikings Find The Love
(Eden Prairie, MN) — The Timberwolves have Kevin Love and now the Vikings have signed wide receiver A-J Love. The team needed depth at the wideout position after Greg Childs tore the patellar tendon in both of his knees over the weekend at training camp. Childs was placed on the waived-injured list on Monday. Love is an undrafted rookie out of South Florida. The Vikings continue practice during training camp at Mankato.
