Bridge Collapse Anniversary 01 Aug 12

Flags are flying at half-staff today (WED) across Minnesota in remembrance of the victims of the 35W Bridge collapse, which happened five-years ago. Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek says that it was a surreal moment in time. Thirteen lives were lost when the span buckled over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis during rush hour at 6:05pm. Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset tonight.
