As the Summer winds down, and the hustle and bustle of back-to-school gets underway, the American Red Cross is asking eligible donors to keep blood donations in their routine. At least 3 extra donors are critically needed at all August blood drives in order for the Red Cross to meet demand this month and into the Fall. The “Live Life – Give Life” Summer Prize Giveaway for blood donors continues as well. Blood drives in the local area this week include today (MON) at the Minnesota New Country School in Henderson from 1 to 7, at the Epiphany Lutheran Church in Eagle Lake from 2 to 7, and at Odeon Hall in Belview from 2 to 7. On Tuesday the Bloodmobile will be at the Nicollet American Legion from 1:30 to 7:30, at the Farmer’s Golf Club in Sanborn from 2 to 7, and at the Le Center American Legion from 1 to 7. On Wednesday there’s a blood drive at River’s Edge Hospital and Clinic in St. Peter from 8am to 7pm, and on Thursday at the Assembly of God Worship Center in Sherburn from 12:30 to 5:30.
