New Ulm’s Ali Bernard lost during the preliminary round of the 72 kilo womens wrestling at the 2012 Olympic Games.

Bernard was defeated by Sweden’s Jenny Fransson 2 periods to none. Fransson moves on to the next round, Bernard now waits to see if Fransson reaches

the finals, then she has a chance at bronze.
