A Waseca man has been sentenced to nearly 6 years in prison after pleading guilty to wire fraud and tax evasion. Kevin Coleman was sentenced to 70 months in prison on Tuesday in federal court. The former chief executive of mattress manufacturer Latex International embezzled around $1.7-million from the company to help fund a lifestyle that included thousands of dollars in jewelry for himself, his wife and his London mistress. In court on Tuesday Coleman was ordered to repay the money he embezzled from Latex and to pay more than $1.3-million in back taxes. Another former Latex executive was sentenced in April to four years in prison for also embezzling $1.7-million.
