The excessive heat is being blamed for a car accident near Walnut Grove Tuesday evening. The driver of a 2006 Ford Mustang, Neng Her of Walnut Grove, apparently passed out due to dehydration. It happened at about 6:30pm Tuesday on Redwood County Road 20, about a mile-and-a-half west of Walnut Grove. After Her passed out the vehicle ran off the road, through the ditch and into a corn field before striking a railroad embankment. Her and the 2 passengers in the vehicle were all taken to the Tracy Hospital to be treated for their injuries. Damage to the Mustang was extensive.
