White Sox Acquire Liriano From Twins

(Undated) — The White Sox bolstered their pitching staff on Saturday by adding Francisco Liriano via trade with the division-rival Twins. The 28-year-old left-hander was just 3-and-10 this season with a 5.31 ERA in 17 starts for Minnesota. Liriano threw a no-hitter last season against his new team. The Twins received infielder Eduardo Escobar and left-handed pitcher Pedro Hernandez as a part of the deal.
