The City of Gibbon celebrates it’s 125th birthday this weekend in conjunction with it’s annual Gibbon FunFest activities. Highlights of Gibbon FunFest this year include a Medallion Hunt, Music in the Park and a Family Movie Night on Friday, on Saturday a Business Expo, kids games and inflatables, water fights, an All-School Reunion, food, a street dance, sports tournaments, and the Quasquicentennial Grand Parade at 1pm. Sunday’s Gibbon Funfest events include a Dad’s Belgian Waffle Breakfast, more kids games and food, fire truck rides, more live music, a fireworks show at dusk, and much more.
