Minnesota’s stretch of hot weather will continue for a few more days. National Weather Service Forecaster Rick Hiltbrand says the chance of showers and thunderstorms will increase tonight (THU) and especially tomorrow. He says the humidity will remain high, however, and it will be Saturday or Sunday before the heat leaves the state. We should return to more normal temperatures next week. Temps topped 100-degrees in many locations across Minnesota on Wednesday, breaking records in several communities. In New Ulm the mercury hit 96-degrees, 5-degrees short of the record.
