One person was injured in a car crash just south of Waldorf Monday night. It happened at just before 10pm on Highway 83 in Waseca County. The state patrol says that 17-year-old Amanda Holmgren of Mankato was southbound on 83 when she used her blinker to signal a left hand turn. The vehicle behind her, driven by 54-year-old William Hertling of Albert Lea, then tried to pass her and the 2 vehicles collided. 16-year-old Hannah Hertling was hospitalized with minor injuries following the crash. No one else was hurt.
