For the second time this month the American Red Cross is putting out an emergency plea for blood donors. Red Cross Minnesota Spokesperson Sue Gonsior says blood donations are at their lowest level in 15 years. Blood drives around the local area this week include today (MON) at the Jeffers Senior Center from 2 to 7, at the Willkommen Pavilion in Norwood Young America from 12:30 to 6:30, and at the Montgomery American Legion from 1 to 7. On Tuesday there are blood drives at the City and Country Tavern in Morgan from 1 to 7 and at Cactus Jack’s in Stewart from 1 to 6. Wednesday’s blood drives take place at Scholarship America in St. Peter from 11am to 4pm, at the Le Sueur Community Center from 9am to 1pm, and at the Wabasso Community Center from 1 to 7. And on Thursday there are blood drives at Cross Roads West in Plato from 1 to 7 and the Lamberton American Legion from 12:30 to 6:30.
