Beef and Sauerkraut Casserole 10 Jul 12

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cups sauerkraut, drained and washed
1 cup uncooked instant rice
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup milk
1 cup sour cream

Brown beef and onion. Heat sauerkraut in butter. Fill a greased casserole dish with alternating layers of meat, rice and sauerkraut. Mix together the milk, egg and sour cream. Pour mixture over casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
