Amateur Beau Hossler is tied in ninth at three-over. Phil Mickelson finished seven-over, one stroke under the plus-eight cut. This year’s Masters champion Bubba Watson and last year’s winner of this event Rory McIlroy [[ MAC-ill-roy ]] both missed the cut and nine and 10-over respectively. World number-one Luke Donald finished at 11-over-par and also missed the cut.
