Waseca School Consolidation 07 Jun 12

Waseca Schools will be going through some consolidation over the summer as the district goes from operating 4 buildings to 3. Waseca Superintendent Brian Dietz says the move will save money and improve curriculum. It’s expected to save the Waseca School District around $300,000 per year. Under the plan, students in grades 4 through 6 will move to the junior high beginning next school year, and kids in 7th and 8th grade would then attend Waseca High School.
