Warm & Wet May Concludes 01 Jun 12

The month of May has come and gone, and it will likely go down in the record books as one of the wettest, and warmest, in Minnesota’s history. Climatologist Pete Boulay says that May was also the 11th straight month of above-normal temperatures in Minnesota. New Ulm’s high temperature for the month was 91-degrees on the 19th, and there were a total of 9 days that saw temps of 80-degrees and warmer. More than 12-inches of rain fell in New Ulm this May as well.
