Brian Dozier’s RBI single in the seventh accounted for the Twins’ lone run as they saw their three-game winning streak come to an end. P.J. Former Twin Santana Throws Mets’ First No-Hitter
New York Mets pitcher Johan Santana threw the first no-hitter in franchise history last night. The former Twin struck out eight and walked five on 134 pitches, surpassing his previous career-high of 125. The Mets defeated the Cardinals, 8-0. It was the third no-no tossed this season. The San Diego Padres are now the lone franchise without a no-hitter.
