The Minnesota Wild began a four-day tour of the state of Minnesota today as part of the Wild Road Tour. Three teams of Wild players, coaches, and celebrities are making separate stops across Minnesota today through Thursday. The planned stops today have come or will come in Winona, Rochester, Duluth, Eveleth, International Falls, and Warroad. Tomorrow’s visits include Austin, Owatonna, Grand Rapids, Brainerd, Thief River Falls, and Bemidji. Each stop will include a fundraising opportunity for local youth hockey and allow fans to get autographs from celebrities and meet some of their favorite players. The Road Tour stops in New Ulm on Wednesday.Players-Matt Kassian and Charlie Coyle, Alum-Antti Laaksonen and Broadcaster Mike Greenlay will be at the New Ulm Civic Center from 4 till 5pm. Have a hot dog and pop, play chuck a puck and more. Proceeds will benefit Sleepy Eye/New Ulm youth hockey.
