A member of the cleaning crew of a New Ulm bar has been charged with 3rd-degree burglary for allegedly taking money out of the till. 48-year-old Timothy R. Corbett of New Ulm was a cleaning employee for the Pub and Patio in New Ulm when the overnight thefts occurred. While viewing surveillance footage from the nights in question, Pub and Patio Owner Darryl Weigel identified Corbett to investigators, and confirmed that Corbett did not have permission to be in the bar at those times. Corbett eventually reportedly admitted to taking $100 worth of $20 bills from the business. He was charged with the felony burglary charge on Friday in Brown County Court.
