A 33-year-old New Ulm woman was charged with felony lottery fraud last week in Brown County Court. Tracy R. Leonard is accused of stealing a total of eight $20 lottery tickets from the Quick Mart in New Ulm in early April while employed at the store. She then allegedly cashed in the tickets for $45 worth of winnings. Store management provided New Ulm police with video surveillance footage of Leonard scanning and redeeming the lottery tickets and she reportedly admitted to committing the crime.
