A 21-year-old Belle Plaine man faces multiple criminal charges after allegedly stealing nearly $2,700 worth of items from his parent’s home. Bradley Scott Christiansen is accused of taking jewelry, a generator, and beer steins from his mother and step-father and pawning the items at pawn shops in Shakopee, Bloomington and Mankato. Surveillance video from the stores reportedly shows Christiansen pawning the items. He allegedly received around $570 for the thousands of dollars worth of items. He remains in custody, and his first appearance in court for the crime will be June 18th. In 2011 Christiansen was found guilty on more than a dozen charges involving theft, vandalism and drugs for a 2-day crime spree in Belle Plaine in July. The latest charges against him will violate his probation on those previous convictions.
