An 18-year-old St. James man who lost most of his leg in a farm accident recently has returned home after a 9-day stay in the hospital. Ross Henderson was working at a feed mill when his foot got caught in the auger earlier this month. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where his left leg was amputated above the knee. The former high school athlete has been undergoing 30 minutes of physical therapy twice a day, and is waiting to receive a prosthetic. He returned home last Friday. A fund to help Henderson has been set up at the Ormsby State Bank under his name.
