The New Ulm Eagles won the State AA title with a 9-5 eight inning victory over St. Anthony Village.  It was the 3rd ‘nail biter’ in a row at state for the Eagles, and 4 in a row if you include the ‘if necessary’ title game win over Pipestone in the 3AA title bout (10-9 win in 10 innings in that classic title).
