A 21-year-old Arlington woman critically injured in a motorcycle pile-up on Highway 169 last Saturday is slowly recovering. Four motorcycles carrying 8 people were taking the Highway 14 ramp onto 169 southbound in Mankato when traffic slowed at the bottom of the ramp and all 4 drivers lost control. All of the people involved were between the ages of 20 and 22. Gaylord residents Samuel Kloeckl and Megan Meyer both received minor injuries, and Lindsay Thomes of Arlington was in critical condition at the Mankato Mayo Hospital following the crash. She was a passenger on the cycle driven by 22-year-old Johnathan Rose of Gaylord. Thomes is recovering from her injuries, and was listed in Fair condition as of Friday night.
