The next court date for a 29-year-old Ceylon man accused of murdering his estranged wife’s boyfriend during a home invasion has been delayed while authorities continue to process the large amount of evidence in the case. Brian Daniel Freeman allegedly used a hammer to assault his wife and 37-year-old Christopher Michael Fulmer while they were in bed in Fulmer’s home in Blue Earth in February, and then attacked his wife’s two teenage daughters. 38-year-old Candice Marie Freeman and the two girls suffered life threatening injuries in the attack, but did recover. Brian Freeman faces a total of 7 felony charges, including murder and attempted murder. His next court date has been pushed back to July 18th. More than 1,600 pages of reports have been submitted as evidence already in the case, with even more still to be processed.
