Morton Woman Arson Sentence 25 May 12

A 27-year-old Morton woman has been sentenced to nearly 5 years in prison for starting a fire at a Redwood Falls trailer park earlier this year. Kimberly Marie Cloud pleaded guilty to 1st-degree arson in Redwood County Court and 2 other arson charges were dismissed. She was sentenced to serve 58 months in the state correctional facility in Shakopee and was also ordered to pay over $24,000 in restitution. The charges against her stemmed from an incident this past January at a trailer park on Elm Street in Redwood Falls. Cloud apparently used rubbing alcohol to ignite a mattress in the mobile home from which she had been evicted.
