MN Flu Season Is Over 25 May 12

Health officials say it’s safe to say the end of the flu season is finally here. There were no hospitalizations over the past week, or outbreaks at school or nursing home facilities. The Department of Health’s Kris Ehresmann says this has been an unusual year for influenza, with the season stretching into April and even May. Since the start of the flu season, over 550 people have been hospitalized and there have been more than 30 influenza-related deaths in Minnesota.
