Metrodome Is The Worst 12 May 12

As the Minnesota Vikings celebrate the approval of new stadium for the team in the Legislature this week, there’s a bit of irony for Minnesotans who read Time Magazine. The latest issue includes a list of the ten worst stadiums in the US, and the soon-to-be-replaced Metrodome in Minneapolis comes in at number one. The 30-year old home of the Vikings was criticized on several fronts, including its roof collapsing back in 2010. The Vikings will play one more season at the Dome, and then a season at the U-of-M’s TCF Bank Stadium before moving into their new, nearly billion-dollar home to be constructed next door to the Dome.
