The investigation into the drowning death of a 21-year-old woman on the Blue Earth River on Monday continues. Authorities recovered the body of Mankato resident Jenny Mae Kraling after she was found in a deep spot known as Davis Hole downstream from the Rapidan Dam. Blue Earth County Chief Deputy Mike Maurer says Kraling was not wearing a life jacket. Two dozen searchers were on the scene for around 4 hours before Kraling was found. A toxicology exam is being conducted on her body to determine if alcohol was a factor in the drowning. Authorities say the temperature of the water at the time may have also led to her being overcome.
