Two people were injured in a car crash near Bird Island Monday evening. The two-vehicle crash about four miles southeast of Bird Island was reported at just after 5:30pm. A car driven by Pamela Olson of rural Bird Island was traveling southbound on 410th Street and collided with a car driven by Taylor Jon Anderson of rural Fairfax at the intersection with Renville County Road 4. Both drivers were taken to the Renville County Hospital in Olivia, where they were treated for their injuries and later released. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
