Wildfire Danger Remains High 06 Apr 12

The wildfire danger remains high across most of Minnesota. The DNR reports 23 fires in recent days, mainly in southern and western Minnesota. New Ulm firefighters battled a grass fire along the KC Road on the west end of town Thursday afternoon. No structures were damaged, and no injuries were reported. The state Fire Center’s Jean Goad advises checking with your local DNR office or the department’s website for updates on fire conditions and burning restrictions. A Red Flag Warning will be in effect for much of the state this (FRI) afternoon.
