A bill to put a Vikings stadium in Minneapolis cleared a Senate committee Friday night, where it had been stalled for weeks It’s a partial recovery for stadium backers, whose bill went down to defeat Monday night in the House. They now must not only keep the bill moving in the Senate; they also have to revive it in the House as the legislative clock ticks down. Next week might be the last week of the session as leaders’ self-imposed deadline looms to send lawmakers home by the end of April. Stadium bill sponsor, Fairmont Senator Julie Rosen says NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s visit Friday morning had a dramatic effect on the bill regaining momentum.
