Renovations at the Ramsey Park Zoo in Redwood Falls continue, and the Redwood Falls City Council this week approved of sending out the bids for the final phase of the project. The majority of the work in the final phase will involve extending the paved section of road and walkway at the zoo all the way to the city maintenance shed. The city also hopes to add erosion-control measures to the hills near the zoo. Work on this phase is expected to get underway in June. The majority of the funding for the $258,000 project is coming in the form of a state Legacy grant. Redwood Falls and the Friends Of The Park will split the remaining $25,800 dollar cost.
