A home in the New Ulm Mobile Village was destroyed by a fire early this (MON) morning. The fire was reported at shortly after midnight, but New Ulm Fire Chief Paul Macho says that the smoke and flames kept firefighters from determining if the home was occupied initially. Chief Macho reports that no one was hurt in the fire. Passersby on the scene reported seeing smoke before finding the home in flames and calling 911. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and more details are expected to be released later today.
