A New Ulm man faces a felony drug charge after authorities found a pound of marijuana in his home. 26-year-old Justin Patrick Allen Weston was charged with a 5th-degree controlled substance crime this week in Brown County Court, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a firearm. Drug task force agents and New Ulm police officers discovered the marijuana in a safe in Weston’s home while executing a search warrant. They also found prescription pill bottles, a digital scale, and the firearm. Weston was convicted of a controlled substance crime in 2004 as well, and was sentenced to 84 months in prison.
