Over 300 high school sophomores from around the area will be in New Ulm on Wednesday for the 5th annual Career Expo. New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Audra Shanemann says it’s a good event for both students and local businesses. Tenth-graders from New Ulm, New Ulm Cathedral, Minnesota Valley Lutheran, Sleepy Eye and Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s high schools will be on hand for the Career Expo. Shanemann says the event helps students plan for their futures.
A total of 60 area businesses will be set up at the Career Expo, which runs from 12:30 to 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. KNUJ will be broadcasting from the event as well!
