A court hearing scheduled for Thursday in the case of an 81-year-old man charged with murder was canceled. Delbert Edwin Huber of Paynesville has been indicted on 1st-degree murder charges for allegedly shooting and killing an Albertville man last fall in northern Kandiyohi County. His son, 46-year-old Timothy John Huber also faces 1st-degree murder charges for the October 8th death of 43-year-old Timothy Richard Larson after a confrontation between the 3 in rural Belgrade. Delbert Huber was denied a court-appointed lawyer because of his assets, and has appeared in court 7 times without an attorney. Thursday’s omnibus hearing was canceled because he still does not have legal representation. A two-week jury trial for the elder Huber is set to begin June 18th.
