The seasonal flu continues to circulate around the state. During the last week, 24 people were hospitalized and one person died of flu-related complications. Health officials say two schools and one nursing home reported an outbreak during the latest reporting period as well. This year’s flu season has been one of the mildest on record. A total of 15 people have now died due to complications from influenza and more than 400 have been hospitalized.
