A man who died in Stearns County over the weekend after he lost control of his all-terrain vehicle has been identified as a 19-year-old Avon man. Daniel Nierenhausen died of the injuries he suffered when his ATV crashed into a tree in Collegeville Township. The crash was reported at shortly before 3am Sunday. Authorities believe Nierenhausen lost control on a curve, slid across a dirt road and struck a tree. He was treated at the scene but died while he was being airlifted to a hospital.
