Blue Earth County prosecutors have reached a plea deal with 2 teenagers arrested after a drive-by shooting in Mankato last month. 18-year-old Alexander Rapheal Marxen is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly shooting at a man outside a home on Allan Court in west Mankato that evening. The man was not hit, although the shirt he was wearing reportedly had four bullet holes in it. Bullet casings were found in the vehicle Marxen was driving that evening, along with a .22-caliber rifle. The plea agreement with Anthony Ray Hildebrandt, who was 17 at the time, requires that he provide information about the shooting to investigators. That information will likely be used against Marxen. Hildebrandt will plead guilty to a felony charge of being involved in a drive-by shooting, and will also provide police with information on another shooting that happened about a week earlier. 16-year-old Damien Jay Kump has also agreed to plead guilty to being involved in a drive-by shooting. Both are scheduled to be sentenced in June. Marxen will make his next court appearance on May 22nd.
