A rural Clara City man suffered minor injuries when he crashed his ultra-light plane in Chippewa County Saturday. The small aircraft operated by Boyd Folkerts crashed in a field north of Bunde. Folkerts told officials that the aircraft lost power and he tried to land in the field. The plane flipped over onto its top upon impact. The accident is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
