Two people were injured in downtown Lamberton Thursday afternoon when their car was rear-ended on Highway 14. The 2005 Toyota Camry was stopped on 14 waiting to turn onto Lamberton’s Main Street when it was rear-ended by a westbound Pontiac Bonneville at just after 2pm. The driver of the Camry, 63-year-old Marie Peterson of Atwater and her passenger, 43-year-old Marie Tauer of Morgan both suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. They were both wearing their seatbelts. The driver of the Bonneville, 38-year-old Kylen Kingsbury of Bemidji was not hurt.
