The Brown County Board today (TUE) is scheduled to hire an Interim 4-H Program Coordinator for the county. Alisa Mangen will fill the position part-time while county officials wait to fill the job permanently. Mangen, formerly Alisa Marti, is a graduate of Sleepy Eye High School and was a Brown County 4-Her for 14 years. She has a degree in Family and Consumer Science from MSU-Mankato. Mangen will begin her role as Interim Brown County 4-H Program Coordinator this week and work 24 hours a week for approximately $39,000 a year. In other business today, the Brown County Board is scheduled to accept a “Confession of Judgment” from the owners of the Marktplatz Mall in New Ulm for the repayment of deliquent property taxes. The company will pay all of it’s 2012 taxes for the property, all of the prior year, and 20% of all remaining taxes. Today’s county board meeting starts at 9am at the Brown County Courthouse in New Ulm.
