The American Red Cross is holding several blood drives across the local area this week. Patients receive blood from Red Cross donors approximately 21,000 times a day across the US. The Bloodmobile will be at the St. James National Guard Armory from 1 to 7 today (MON) and 8am to Noon on Tuesday. There’s also a blood drive at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson on Tuesday from Noon to 6. On Wednesday eligible donors can Give The Gift Of Life at Sleepy Eye High School from 8:30am to 1:30pm or at South Central College in North Mankato from 10 to 3. The Red Cross headquarters on Homestead Drive in Mankato is holding blood drives from 12:30 to 5:30 on Thursday and 9am to 1 pm on Friday, and River’s Edge Hospital and Clinic in St. Peter has blood drives taking place from 1 to 7 on Thursday and 8 to 1 on Friday.
