The Brown County Historical Society holds it’s annual Book Sale later this week. Spokesperson Mary Ann Zins says the Book Sale takes place from 9 to 6 on Friday and 9 to 2 Saturday at the Brown County Museum Annex in New Ulm, but for some people the sale starts Thursday evening. Historical Society members will have the first opportunity to pick through the books, and for those who aren’t members they can sign up that day. Zins says the Thursday Book Sale for Historical Society members takes place from 6 to 8pm at the Annex building on North Broadway in New Ulm. Paperback books sell for 50-cents at the Book Sale, and hardcovers for $2. Book donations are still being accepted this week at the Annex as well. They are not accepting Readers Digest condensed books, magazines, damaged books, or recorded cd’s. Unsellable books will be donated to the local chapter of the Disabled American Veterans.
