The clock is ticking on approving a deal for a new Vikings stadium this legislative session. Stadium bill co-author Senator Julie Rosen of Fairmont says the legislature is waiting on a letter of approval from the Minneapolis City Council before proceeding. The stadium bill calls for constructing a new facility at the site of the current Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis. The approximately $1-billion price tag would be split between the state, the City of Minneapolis, and the Vikings.
