The Vikings stadium bill will stay alive at the state Capitol beyond Friday night’s deadline for the measure to pass out of committee. House Speaker Kurt Zellers says the deadline was not the problem with the bill. Zellers says the big problem with the bill in it’s current form is the fact that if electronic pull-tabs don’t raise enough money, the backup would be state general fund tax dollars. Stadium backers are trying to resolve the pull-tab problem and find another revenue source in hopes the bill will pass the Senate committee where it’s currently stalled.
