Sleepy Eye knocked out of Tournament 15 Mar 12

Sleepy Eye Indian Girls Basketball Team has been knocked out of the State Tournament.

The Indians were defeated by Mountain Iron/Buhl 50 to 31. The Rangers scored the first 11 points of the game, enroute to an eight point halftime lead, which lead to the 19 point win.

The Indians were lead by Carissa Hilmer’s 10 points and Claire Krumbach’s 10 rebounds. The Indians finish the year 19 and 11.

A welcome home will take place in the Sleepy Eye Gymnasium at approximately 6:15pm today.
