NUHS Blood Drive Results 23 Mar 12

A blood drive was held at New Ulm High School on Wednesday, and more than 130 students were on hand to Give the Gift of Life. Nine double red cell donors were credited for 18 units and 105 units of whole blood were donated, for a total of 123 units collected in one day. The New Ulm High School FFA Chapter sponsors and finances blood drives at the school in the fall and spring. This school year students and staff have donated a grand total of 235 units of blood, enough to save the lives of more than 700 people.
