NU Food Drive Results 26 Mar 12

The New Ulm Food Shelf took in over 4,300 pounds of food in just 3 hours on Saturday. New Ulm Scouts went door-to-door across the city to pick up bags of food left out by residents. Just over 4,000 pounds was collected in New Ulm, with Scouts in Lafayette collecting an additional 377 pounds. A number of churches and businesses in the New Ulm area are having food collection events as well, with all donations during the month of March counting towards a partial matching grant from Minnesota Food Share.
